About Me

I have worked with children and young people for 20 years in a variety of roles. Within this time I have worked closely with many individuals, families and projects to develop goals and drive positive outcomes. I have worked with children and young people with a range of health care and medical concerns from special educational needs (SEN), to young people with complex care needs, visual impairments, multi-sensory impairments, motor function difficulties and cognitive impairments.

I have a particular interest in motor dysfunction, body awareness, balance and coordination, and working with children and their families/schools to develop treatment packages which support recovery or aid development to enable the children to fully participate in daily living activities.

I am fully registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC), a registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) and the Institute for Youth Work (IYW). I am insured to practise and belong to professional networks to ensure continual development within my work.

I take private self-referral from parents and carers, as well as referral from organisations such as schools, GPs, charities and other therapists. Please do get in touch to find out more, as I’d be happy to discuss services which I can offer.
